Insurance information
Biodesix, the company that provides the VeriStrat test, takes full responsibility for filing your insurance claim for coverage of the test with both private insurance providers and Medicare. Biodesix cannot guarantee that coverage will be approved, but will aggressively appeal any coverage denials in attempt to receive payment.
What is the cost of VeriStrat?
If you have private insurance, coverage depends on your specific plan. You may be responsible for co-payment, co-insurance, or a deductible. To help you determine your maximum financial liability, the customer service representatives at the VeriStrat Support Hotline at 866-432-5930 are available to answer your questions.
Biodesix anticipates that Medicare will pay for the cost of the VeriStrat test. Biodesix is in the process of obtaining Medicare coverage for the VeriStrat test and is confident of success. During this time, Biodesix will not hold Medicare patients financially responsible for the costs of the VeriStrat test. If you receive any notices or correspondence regarding the test from Medicare , please call the VeriStrat Support Hotline at 866-432-5930 for assistance.
