Interpreting results

Results – either VeriStrat Good or VeriStrat Poor – are typically reported to the ordering physician within 72 hours. If the sample is insufficient or if the test cannot be performed for any reason, the Biodesix Laboratory will contact the ordering physician by phone or e-mail.

In less than two percent of cases, the test yields an indeterminate result. If this result occurs, a Biodesix medical advisor will contact your facility to determine if a sample redraw is required.
