Test Results
Average Turnaround of Results
Samples are received at the Biodesix Laboratory Monday through Friday. Results are typically reported to the ordering physician within 72 hours. Ordering physicians will be contacted by telephone or e-mail if the sample is insufficient or if the test cannot be performed for any reason.
What to Expect: Anticipating Results
Each VeriStrat® test will yield one of three of the following possible results: VeriStrat Good, VeriStrat Poor, or VeriStrat Indeterminate (click to view sample Test Result Reports on the right). It is rare for a result to be indeterminate, less than 2% of cases. However, if a test yields an indeterminate result, your facility will be contacted by Biodesix to determine if a sample redraw is required.
